I had the awesome opportunity to design for their Subway car series. You can purchase my bag here!Problem: Create a story and design around the theme “Tender Ride” within the bag template, along with pin designs for storytelling devices.
Solution: Designed a story bag that reflects on the small, often overlooked interactions that happen in our everyday lives, and the power of a simple smile or hello to create connection.

Process Overview
The brief centered around a simple theme: “Tender Ride.” With plenty of room for interpretation, I began sketching ideas and found myself drawn to the quiet moments that happen during a commute home. Together, we shaped the concept into a story about two strangers sharing a subway ride after work. To bring a bit more charm and personality to the piece, I reimagined them as animal characters, creating a small narrative that feels both relatable and heartwarming. One notable design decision involved the use of linework. My initial concepts omitted the bold black outlines that are often present in my personal work, as I was concerned they would compete with the artwork when printed on a fabric bag. Through the review process, we ultimately chose to reintroduce the heavier outlines, resulting in a final piece that felt more aligned with my artistic identity while maintaining readability.
